Description

Burnfoot Bridge, dated 1902, is a road bridge featuring two segmental arches over the River Esk. The bridge is constructed of snecked, bull-faced red ashlar with voussoirs, and the inner face of the parapets is stugged. It has brick soffits and pointed cutwaters on either side, along with a band course below the parapet, which is opened out at the northern end.
