Description

Later 19th century single storey and attic, L-plan gate

lodge; harl pointed rubble, tooled ashlar dressings. Gabled, round-headed porch in re-entrant angle with single bipartite

right and canted bay window in centre of gable end, left.

Further canted bay in south elevation, facing main road;

gabled dormer; 2- and 4-pane glazing; decorative finialled

bargeboards to all gables; coped ridge stack; slate roofs.

Modern lean-to single storey extension to rear.

Gate piers and gates; pair tooled rubble square gate piers

with tooled ashlar pyramidal caps; pair cast-iron spearhead

carriage gates. Similar piers flank rear entrance to lodge

and terminate low coped quadrants with spearhead

cast-iron/railings.
