East Lodge, Scatwell House

East Lodge at Scatwell House is a single-storey and attic gate lodge built in the later 19th century, designed in an L-plan. The exterior features harled pointed rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. It has a gabled, round-headed porch located in the re-entrant angle, with a single bipartite window to the right and a canted bay window in the centre of the gable end on the left. There is an additional canted bay on the south elevation facing the main road, along with a gabled dormer. The windows include 2- and 4-pane glazing, and all gables are adorned with decorative finialled bargeboards. The building has a coped ridge stack and slate roofs.

At the rear, there is a modern lean-to single-storey extension. The entrance features gate piers and gates, consisting of a pair of tooled rubble square gate piers topped with tooled ashlar pyramidal caps, and a pair of cast-iron spearhead carriage gates. Similar piers also flank the rear entrance to the lodge and lead to low coped quadrants with spearhead cast-iron railings.
