Seatown Lodge And Gates, Cullen House

Seatown Lodge and Gates at Cullen House is a single-storey, asymmetrical three-bay gate lodge built in the mid-19th century. The exterior is harled with painted tooled ashlar margins. The main entrance is located on the west front, which faces the drive, and is flanked on the left by a slightly advanced gabled bay that features a projecting canted window. On the right side, there is a bipartite window, and a tripartite window with a hoodmould is found in the north gable, which faces the road. The gables also include small slit lights and lattice-pane glazing. The lodge has a ridge stack and a slate roof with projecting eaves, decorative bargeboards, and turned wooden apex finials. There is a later rear lean-to extension and a swept dormer.

The gates and flanking railings consist of a pair of mid-19th century cast-iron spearhead carriage gates along with a matching pedestrian gate. The flanking railings are also made of matching spearhead design and are mounted on a low ashlar coped harled rubble wall.
