Description

Mid 19th century single storey gabled T-plan gate lodge

(with later additions). Squared rendered rubble and ashlar

dressings. Chamfered arrises to openings.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: gabled porch set in re-entrant

angle with small light, and arrow slit in gable, door on W

side. Gabled bay of N-S arm to right with timber

mullioned bipartite and arrow slit above.

W ELEVATION: narrower gable to E-W arm with bipartite and

arrow slit as above. Lean to porch added to re-entrant

angle to left.

Small plane and lying-pane glazing to casement windows.

Gablet skews with consoled skewputts. 2 diamond stacks

linked in N re-entrant angle. Slate roofs.
