Description
8 Agnew Crescent is an earlier 19th century single storey and attic end terraced cottage located in Wigtown. The building features painted rubble walls with painted smooth rusticated quoins and raised margins. Its front is symmetrical with three bays, including a central margined doorway that has deep cavetto reveals and an astragalled fanlight. On either side of the door are single light sash and case windows with glass glazing. The cottage has an eaves band and end skews with roll skewputts. There are two canted timber dormers from the later 19th century, which are slate-hung. The roofs are modern pantiled, and the building has tall coped end rusticated stacks with octagonal cans. Plastic rainwater goods are installed, and there are box dormers at the rear.
