Description
14 Agnew Crescent in Wigtown is an earlier 19th-century single-storey cottage that was originally a pair of cottages. It features a three-bay frontage made of painted rubble, with rusticated quoins and raised margins. The central door, which was formerly a passageway, is margined and has flanking doors that are now blocked. There is a recessed timber boarded area with a fanlight above. On either side of the door, there are single sash and case windows with plate glass glazing. The building has an eaves band, end skews, and coped end stacks. There are also a pair of canted flat-roofed dormers with 4-pane sash and case windows, topped with slate roofs. At the rear, there are small box dormers and modern rooflights.
