17 Agnew Crescent is a house from the earlier to mid 19th century. It is two stories high and has two bays. The building is constructed of whinstone rubble, featuring squared granite dressings and a lintel course. The main entrance is located to the right and is closely flanked by a secondary door, with both doors having modern letterbox fanlights. To the left of the entrance and in each bay on the taller first floor, there are windows that have a 12-pane glazing pattern in sash and case style. The roof is covered with modern tiles, and there are granite chimney stacks.
