2 Holm Street, Moffat

2 Holm Street in Moffat is an earlier 19th-century building that has undergone later alterations. It is a three-storey structure with a basement facing Holm Street, featuring a four-bay gable end on High Street and three bays on Holm Street. The gable end is finished in painted ashlar, while the side has a band course over the ground floor and cill courses at the first and second floors. The elevation is stuccoed with lines that mimic ashlar. There is a modern shop located in the gable end, along with four first-floor windows and three second-floor windows. The second-floor windows on Holm Street are topped with raised wall-head gablets. A band course runs above the ground floor, with additional bands at the first and second floors. The building has an apex stack and a gabletted wall-head stack facing Holm Street, topped with a slated roof.
