Description

Church View on Churchgate in Moffat is a mid-19th century building that stands four storeys tall and features a four-bay front. The exterior is stuccoed and lined to resemble ashlar, with some painted margins. The ground floor includes shops and a pend, which has a pilastered doorpiece. Beyond this, there is a door leading to a rear wing, adorned with console brackets and a pediment. The roof is slated, with stacks located off-centre and at the south end.
