324-326 Leith Walk, Edinburgh

324-326 Leith Walk is a late 18th century townhouse that stands three storeys high with a mansard attic and features four bays. It is set back from the street with a front garden area and is adjacent to a later tenement building to the east. The exterior is made of cream sandstone, with coursed and squared rubble and painted margins, while the rear is finished in coursed rubble. The ground floor windows are framed with architraves and cornices.

On the southeast (front) elevation, there is a pilastered and corniced doorway located to the left of the center, adorned with rosettes on the frieze, a rectangular plate glass fanlight, and a panelled door. The remaining bays have single windows, and there are three dormer windows in the mansard roof.

The northwest (rear) elevation features a projecting circular stairwell at the center that breaks the eaves and has a catslide roof, with a doorway on the flank. The other bays also have single windows, and there are two dormers.

The southwest elevation is blank and includes an apex stack. The windows throughout are timber sash and case, mostly with 12 panes, while some have plate glass glazing at the rear. The roof is covered with black slate, and there are rendered brick apex stacks.

The interior was not seen in 1993. The boundary wall at the front and side has saddleback coping, is rendered on the front, and is framed by coped gatepiers.
