Description

Early 19th century. 3-storey, 4-bay tenement with cellar and later shopfronts projecting in former garden area. Cream sandstone, coursed and squared stugged rubble with droved ashlar dressings.

SE (FRONT) ELEVATION: projecting flat-roofed shopfront spanning ground floor except plain original doorway to outer left bay. Single windows at 1st and 2nd floor above. 2 rectangular tripartite dormers with piended roof.

NW (REAR) ELEVATION: single windows; wallhead stack to right.

Timber sash and case windows with plate glass glazing. Black slate roof with lead flashings; 1 wallhead stack (see above), rendered mutual stacks.

INTERIOR: not seen 1993.
