Description
302 Leith Walk is an early 19th-century, three-storey, four-bay tenement building with a cellar. It features later shopfronts that project into what was once a garden area. The exterior is made of cream sandstone, with coursed and squared stugged rubble and droved ashlar dressings.
On the front elevation, the ground floor has a projecting flat-roofed shopfront that spans the entire width, except for a plain original doorway located in the outer left bay. Above this, there are single windows on both the first and second floors. The roof features two rectangular tripartite dormers with piended roofs.
The rear elevation has single windows and a wallhead stack on the right side. The building has timber sash and case windows with plate glass glazing. The roof is covered with black slate and has lead flashings, along with one wallhead stack and rendered mutual stacks.
The interior was not seen in 1993.
