Description

Early 19th century. 3-storey, 4-bay tenement. Cream sandstone, stugged ashlar front, coursed rubble to rear.

SE (FRONT) ELEVATION: consoled cornice to doorway in bay to left of centre; single windows to remaining bays. 2 large rectangular dormers with piended roof and replacement windows.

NW (REAR) ELEVATION: full-height bowed bay with tripartite windows to each floor to right; single windows to left. Central wallhead stack. 2 piended dormers.

Timber sash and case windows with plate glass glazing, 12-pane windows to rear. Black slate roof with lead flashings; wallhead stack (see above); broad mutual ashlar stack to left, rendered replacement to right.

INTERIOR: not seen 1993.

BOUNDARY WALL: low rubble wall to front with saddleback coping, later railings.
