Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, symmetrical, 3-bay classical house with single storey wings adjoining. Lightly stugged cream sandstone ashlar. Base course; cill course to first floor; cornice and blocking course with raised centre; channelled quoins to house and wings.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central doorway with panelled door; plate glass fanlight; ionic columns to corniced doorpiece. Single window to 1st floor above and in bays to outer left and right, those to ground floor set in round-arched panels, projecting cills. Round-arched doorways to single storey wings; boarded doors.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows. Grey slate piended roof; corniced wallhead stack to S; N stack missing.

INTERIOR: not seen 1995.

BOUNDARY WALLS: low coped ashlar boundary wall to street; higher coped rubble walls elsewhere.
