Description

Early 19th century with later 19th century additions. 2-storey, 3-bay classical house; single storey wings to N. Lightly stugged, cream sandstone ashlar. Base course; cill course to 1st floor windows; cornice and blocking course; advanced cills to ground floor windows.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central doorway; panelled door; plate glass, segmental-arched fanlight; ionic pilasters to corniced doorpiece; single window above and at single storey wing to N. Full height, 3-light canted window to outer right; advanced, tripartite windows at both floors to outer left.

Plate glass, timber, sash and case windows. Grey slate piended roof; coped wallhead stacks; moulded octagonal cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1995.

BOUNDARY WALLS AND PEDESTRIAN GATE: low coped boundary walls to street; higher, rubble mutual walls; replacement railings. Pedestrian gate adjoining house to S.
