Description

Circa 1840 with later 19th century alterations. 2-storey, 3-bay, near symmetrical, classical house with 2-storey wings adjoining to N and S; extensive additions to rear. Cream sandstone ashlar; rubble to sides and rear. Base course; cill course to 1st floor windows; cornice and blocking course.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central doorway; panelled door; round-arched, plate glass fanlight; doric columns to corniced doorpiece; single window above. Full-height, 3-light canted bay window to outer right; full-height advanced bay to outer left with bipartite windows to both floors. Single windows to both floors to 2-storey wing to N; doorway at ground with bipartite window above to wing to S.

Plate glass, timber, sash and case windows. Grey slate piended roof; coursed and coped wallhead stack to S, rendered and coped stack to N; moulded octagonal cans.
