Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, symmetrical 3-bay classical house. Cream sandstone ashlar with channelled ground floor to principal elevation; coursed rubble to rear and sides. Base course dividing band course; cill course to 1st floor windows; cornice and blocking course.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: broad central doorway with panelled door; plate glass fanlight; engaged doric columns to corniced doorpiece; single window at 1st floor above and in bays to outer left and right.

S ELEVATION: concrete escape stair.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows to ground floor; 12-pane to 1st floor. Grey slate piended roof; tall rendered and coped wallhead stacks; moulded cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1995.

BOUNDARY WALL AND PEDESTRIAN GATEWAY: low coped boundary wall to street; pedestrian gateway adjoining house to N.
