Description
49 Minto Street is an earlier 19th century, two-storey, three-bay classical house. It is constructed of lightly stugged cream sandstone ashlar, featuring a channelled ground floor on the main elevation, a dividing band course, a cornice, and a blocking course.
The entrance elevation has a central doorway with a panelled door and a plate glass fanlight, flanked by Doric columns supporting a corniced doorpiece. Above the doorway, there is a single window on the first floor, with additional windows in the outer bays to the left and right.
The house has plate glass timber sash and case windows and a grey slate piended roof with wallhead stacks and moulded cans.
The interior was not seen in 1995.
There is a low coped boundary wall along the street, with pedestrian gateways on both the north and south sides of the house.
