Description
22 Upper Gray Street is an earlier 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay classical house made of cream sandstone ashlar. It features a cornice, a blocking course with a raised center, and projecting cills.
The entrance elevation has a central doorway with a panelled door and a plate glass fanlight, framed by an advanced corniced doorpiece. Above the doorway, there is a single window on the first floor, with additional windows in the outer left and right bays.
The house has 12-pane timber sash and case windows and a grey slate piended roof, with coped wallhead stacks and moulded octagonal cans.
The interior was not seen in 1995. There is a low coped rubble boundary wall to the street, which has replacement steel railings.
