Description
Early 19th century with later 19th century alterations. 2-storey, 3-bay symmetrical classical house; later additional storey to single storey wing adjoining to N. Cream sandstone ashlar; rubble sandstone to sides and rear. Base course; cill course, architraves and cornices to 1st floor windows; cornice and blocking course raised at centre with terminal dies.
W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: pilastered central doorway with panelled door; round-arched, plate glass fanlight; advanced, corniced, columned doorcase; single window to 1st floor above; 3-light canted windows to ground floor bays to outer left and right; single windows above. Pedimented dormer breaking eaves to 2-storey wing.
4-pane timber, sash and case windows. Grey slate piended roof; truncated, coped wallhead stack with moulded octagonal cans to N; tall, rendered, coped wallhead stack with moulded cans to S.
INTERIOR: not seen 1995
BOUNDARY WALLS, PIERS AND CARRIAGE GATE: low coped boundary wall to street; replacement railings; panelled piers to mutual boundary walls; carriage gate adjoining house to S.
