Description

Vanes Park, located on Airlie Street in Brechin, dates back to 1787, as indicated by the voussoirs. The building is harled and has two storeys with a four-window front, where the third window is blind. It features a central wallhead chimney gablet with a slim square stack. The ground floor has two windows that are centred above the outer upper windows, and there is a central doorpiece with alternately raised quoins, a flat voussoired arch top, and a vestigial cornice. The roof is slated and includes skewputts. The glazing is partly original but has been much spoiled.
