Description
The Edward VIII pillar box, located in Gregness Gardens, Aberdeen, was built in 1936. It features a columnar design with a swept frieze leading to a shallow-domed cap that has a dentilled rim. Made of cast iron, the base is painted black. The shaft displays "EVIIIR" in raised gothic lettering, with a crown above and the words "Post Office" below.
