Description
The building was a thatched house that stood between 1820 and 1839 in the townland of Greaghaverrin, near Rosslea, County Fermanagh. It was a three-bay cottage, documented on an Ordnance Survey map from 1834. The building had a flat concrete roof, a front porch with a corrugated iron roof, and a shed to the west gable. A white-washed concrete block chimney corbelled from the wall. The roof was thatched, with raised gables and the thatch in poor condition at the rear. The walls were partially lined with render and white-washed. The windows were a mix of four-paned sliding sash windows and modern top-hung casements, set within painted stone sills. The entrance door had a glazed top panel. The house has been demolished and replaced by a modern bungalow.
