House, Drumshancorick, Rosslea, Co Fermanagh, BT92 7HP

This is a single-storey, three-bay vernacular house situated in a pleasant roadside setting in the townland of Drumshancorick, County Fermanagh. The house, aligned southwest-northeast, was likely constructed between 1820 and 1839. It is shown on the 1834 Ordnance Survey six-inch map. The roof is pitched and covered with corrugated asbestos, with lime-rendered chimneys marking the party walls between the bays. The walls are lime-rendered, and rainwater goods are half-round metal. The principal, southeast-facing elevation features a central bay that is wider and has a projecting porch to the left and the remains of a boarded-over 2/2 sliding sash window to the right. The porch has a flat, cement-coped roof and a door opening with narrow sidelights. The left and right bays each have a window opening; the left window has the remains of a timber side-hung casement. The left gable is abutted by an open lean-to shed with a timber frame and a corrugated metal roof. The rear elevation contains the remains of a 2/2 sliding sash window located to the right of centre. The building is of private ownership and noted for its vernacular style.
