Description
The gate piers and return walls, located 75 metres north of Redlynch Home Farm House, are likely from the 18th century. They are made of Doulting stone and measure approximately 600 millimetres square in plan. Each pier features a plinth, rusticated tooled ashlar blocks, a cornice mould capping, and flat tops, standing about 3 metres high. The outer sides have a 500 millimetre return piece with a scroll top, and the width between the piers is about 3 metres. These structures are part of a group of features on an important site associated with 18th century architecture.
