Description

The gate piers located about 275 metres north-east of Manor Farmhouse date from the 18th century. They are constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared, with dressings made from Ham stone. The piers have a square plan and stand approximately 2.5 metres high. Each pier features moulded flat caps that are double stepped, topped with pyramid necks leading to ball finials. The piers are spaced about 8 metres apart and are connected by a stone wall that is about 1 metre high, which includes a 20th-century metal agricultural gate in the centre.
