Description
This pair of gate piers, located 120 metres south of Manor House Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. They are constructed from local lias stone with Ham stone dressings and feature wrought iron gates. The piers are integrated with side sweep walls made of cut and squared lias, topped with Ham stone copings. They also include base steps, cornice mould caps with steps, and ball finials. The gates are simple late 20th century designs with twist point tops. These gate piers contribute to the setting of Manor House Farmhouse.
