LONG SUTTON CP STEPHEN'S HILL (North side) ST42NE 6/192 Pair gate piers and attached railings 20 metres south of Manor House Farmhouse 17.4.59 GV II

Gate piers and railings, C18. Local lias stone and Ham stone; wrot iron gates. Square piers in lias stone, with Ham stone caps having cornice mould, steps and ball finials; to either side of gateway low stone walls capped with Ham copings and railings with twist top points; gates to match between piers and also west of main gateway, urn finials to these gateposts. Return stone wall about 2.5 metres high on east side of front garden. Contributes to setting of Manor House Farmhouse. (q.v).
