Description

Redlynch Farm House is likely early 19th century. It is a brick farmhouse, built using a Flemish bond brick pattern, with a later extension constructed of stone rubble. The roof is of plain clay tile, with simple gables and a bitumenised finish on the extension. There are brick chimney stacks at the ends and between bays. The house is two storeys high and has four bays, with bay one being the extension. Bay one has a two-light horizontal glazing bar casement window on the ground floor and a two-light casement window above, with half-leaded glazing. Other bays have two-light, small-pane casement windows, each set within a segmental gauged brick arch. A doorway was blocked in brick on the right side of bay one. A brick and tile porch, containing a C20 door, is located between bays three and four. A band course and an eaves course run around the brick portion of the building, with projecting brick headers. The interior was not inspected.
