Description
Ashill Farmhouse is a farmhouse located at the end of a row in Ashill Village. It is likely a 19th-century alteration of an earlier building. The structure features local stonework that is rendered and colorwashed on the front elevation, with a Welsh slate roof that has an abutment to the west and is half-hipped to the east. There are brick chimney stacks, with the one to the west having a massive stone base. The farmhouse has an 'L' plan, is two stories high, and consists of five bays. The windows are horizontal-bar casements in plain openings, with all being three-light except for those in the first bay, which are two-light. In the lower part of bay two, there is a wide flush-panelled door set in a timber trellis and a slated open porch. The interior has not been seen, but older fragments are suspected to be present. The farmhouse is included in the register principally for its group value.
