Description
Heddon Banks Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1850, constructed from ashlar and coursed stone with a Welsh slate roof. It is two storeys high and features a three-bay house on the left, with a lower two-bay wing set back to the right. The building has a chamfered plinth and three steps leading up to a central two-leaf door that is set within a Tudor-arched surround, complete with a hoodmould. The windows are two-light mullioned types, each with an 8-pane sash in raised chamfered surrounds, and there are cornices above the ground floor windows. The farmhouse has a moulded top cornice and a gabled roof with ridged coping and kneelers. The corniced end stacks feature four clustered shafts. The attached wing includes a panelled door with a five-pane overlight and connects to the farm buildings.
