Description

Merci Beaucoup and No. 2 Cottage are two cottages built in 1815. They are constructed of ashlar stone and have a Welsh slate roof. Each cottage is single storey and consists of three bays. The cottages feature boarded doors topped with open pediments that rest on curved stone brackets. The pediment of the cottage on the left is inscribed with "MERCI BEAUCOUP," while the one on the right is inscribed with "1815." Both cottages have three-light casement windows and a gabled roof that includes four tall ridge and end stacks.
