Milepost. C18. Rough-hewn stone pier with a hipped top; cast metal plate with incised lettering facing road:- "The Bath Roads to the Guildhall Bath 10M. 4 Fur". Wall to each side of pier is not of special interest. Resited. Part of Bath Turnpike Trust. (Bryan Morland O., an Introduction to the Infrastructure of the Industrial Revolution in Somerset. 1982).
