Description

1. 5120 FOSSEWAY White Post Boundary Post ST 65 SE 2/93 II 2. Dated 1827. Handsome turnpike trust boundary mark. Cast iron with 2 faces separated by narrow strip with legend "Bath Turnpike Trust" and dated at the top. Left face has plate marked "Kilmersdon". Right face marked "Stratton". The top is angled back.

The asset was previously listed twice also under List entry 1058639 in the parish of Stratton on the Fosse. This entry was deleted on 17 March 2017.
