Description

The boundary post, dated 1827, is an attractive turnpike trust boundary marker made of cast iron. It features two faces separated by a narrow strip that displays the legend "Bath Turnpike Trust" at the top. The left face is marked "Kilmersdon," while the right face is marked "Stratton." The top of the post is angled back.
