Description

This boundary post, dated 1827, was created for the Bath Turnpike Trust. It is made of cast iron and has a triangular shape with a half-hexagonal top. The lettering on the post reads "1827/WESTON/...TURNPIKE TRUST (reading up the post)/KELSTON". The lower part of the post is buried in the pavement.
