Description

This boundary post, dated 1827, was created for the Bath Turnpike Trust. It is made of cast iron and has a triangular shape with a half-hexagonal top. The post features raised lettering that reads: "1827/ NEWTON - TURNPIKE TRUST (up the body of the post) - CORSTON". The post is partly buried.
