Description
Kelston View and Selwood are a pair of houses built in the late 18th to early 19th century. They are constructed of ashlar, with Selwood being painted, and feature slate roofs that have coped raised verges and a coped parapet that sweeps up at the ends. The buildings are two storeys high and have cellars.
Kelston View has three mid to late 19th century sash windows with vertical glazing bars, and a central six-panel door beneath a fanlight, which is set in a doorcase with Tuscan columns and a broken pediment. Selwood has one glazing bar sash window and a six-panel door to the left, also under a fanlight and framed by a fluted surround. There is a cill band beneath the first floor windows, along with end and dividing pilaster strips. To the left of Kelston View, there is a single-storey ashlar screen wall with two windows.
