Description
Dean Hill House is a late 17th-century farmhouse constructed from rubble with freestone dressings and quoins. It features a stone slate roof with coped raised verges and ashlar stacks topped with a cornice. The building has two storeys and attics, presented in three coped gables. It consists of three bays, plus an additional single-storey wing on the left. The windows are three-light casements, with two-light windows in the attics, all featuring ogee moulded mullions and surrounds, and are set beneath drip moulds. The central door, dating from the 20th century, is in a chamfered surround and has armorial bearings above it. Inside, there are chamfered beams with decorative stops. Note that the 20th-century rear wing is not included in the listing.
