Description
1 Silver Street is an early 19th-century building located in Midsomer Norton. It stands two storeys high and is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. The building has a moulded cornice and a parapet, topped with a slate roof that has coped verges and end chimneys.
The front façade includes three windows with plate glass sashes, and the two windows on the first floor have blind boxes. A central glazed door is present, and at the rear, there is a two-storey extension with two windows that have glazing bar sashes. A projecting Tuscan portico, supported by engaged columns, marks the entrance at the junction of the main ranges. Additionally, there is a blocked garret light in the north gable.
