STON EASTON CP RUSH HILL (North side) ST65SW 4/33 Milestone at NGR ST 6280 5498 on roadside

Milestone. C18. Pier of rough-hewn stone with a pyramidal top, some damage. Cast iron plate facing front with inscription: "THE BATH ROADS TO THE GUILDHALL BATH 13 M AND 2 FUR"; pointing hand in relief. One of the best and most elaborate milestones in the county.
