Description
Roland's Farm is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with a 19th-century addition at the rear. The building features rendered rubble with stone dressings, copings, and a slate roof on the 18th-century wing, while the rear 19th-century wing has a 20th-century double Roman tile roof. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three windows on the 18th-century section. All windows are 2-light chamfered mullions with dripstones, although the upper left-hand window has been renewed. The central upper window has ogee-headed lights, and there is a central Tudor arched doorway with a flat hood supported by carved brackets. The entrance has a part-glazed 19th-century plank door, and there are stone stacks at each end of the building.
