Description

School View is a former single house, now divided into two ownerships, dating from the early 18th century. The building is constructed of squared and coursed rubble with stone dressings and copings, topped by a 20th-century pantile roof. Originally, it featured a symmetrical two-storey front with three windows, which included two-light ovolo mullions and four-pane sashes. The ground floor windows are adorned with hoodmoulds. A central plank door is set within a chamfered architrave beneath a wooden lintel. The original symmetry has been altered by the addition of a 20th-century part-glazed door to the left side. There is a brick stack on the right-hand side.
