Description
Farrington Inn is a public house dating from the late 18th century. It features colourwashed render with stone dressings, copings, and pantile roofs. The building is two stories high with a main block that has two windows, attached to a two-story range with four windows, and a further advanced four-window range at right angles to the road, creating a U-shaped complex. Most windows are 8-pane sashes, except for those in the main block, which have 19th-century tripartite openings with 20th-century glazing in the lower windows and 6-pane sashes in the upper. There is a 20th-century porch in the angle and segmental-headed carriage entrances with plank doors in the subsidiary ranges. The building has one stone stack.
