Socket of churchyard cross. Late C14. Dressed sandstone. Octagonal with recessed facings, the upper bed forming a heavy weatherdrip, the lower a bold off-set; section of broken octagonal shaft inset. Scheduled Ancient Monument (Somerset County No 225). (Pooley, Old Crosses of Somerset, 1877).
