Description
This 18th-century barn, located about 20 meters northwest of the Manor House, is constructed from Ham stone ashlar and features a plain clay tiled roof with high coped gables and gabletted finials, indicating it may have originally been thatched. The barn is partly two storeys and consists of four bays. It has a plinth, and one bay has a section of wall that has been rebuilt, featuring a flat voussoired and keystoned door arch. Bay three contains a former segmental archway that is now blocked, with two plain doorways; one has a deep lintel and the other has an 18th-century architraved lintel. The barn also has double collar roof trusses. It is primarily noted for its group value with the Manor House.
