Description

This boundary stone, located opposite the junction with Main Street in Chilthorne Domer, is likely from the 18th century. It is made of Ham stone and measures approximately 350 mm by 300 mm at the base, tapering to 250 mm square at the top. The stone stands 1150 mm high and has a flat top. The north face of the stone is inscribed with the words: "HERE begins Chilthorne."
