Description
The front boundary wall and gateway to the Manor House is a boundary feature, likely built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from ham stone ashlar and includes a chamfered plinth and thin angled copings, standing about 1.25 meters high. The wall curves up to a pedestrian gateway located to the east of the house. The gateway jamb features ovolo moulding and may have originally been part of a reused doorway. The gates are made of wrought iron and were added in the 20th century. This wall and gateway are significant as they contribute to the setting of the Manor House and enhance the overall streetscape.
