Description
The east boundary wall to Manor Farmhouse and its south return is a Grade II listed structure dating from the 18th to 19th century. It is constructed of Ham stone in a near-ashlar style and stands approximately 1.25 meters high, featuring a thin coping. The wall runs along the entire east boundary of the property, measuring about 35 meters in length. There is a blocked gateway against the house, and further south, a formal gateway is present with square piers that have a chamfered plinth, a frieze band (notably with one stone reset upside down), and a moulded cap topped with a pyramidal feature. A 20th-century timber gate is installed here. The boundary wall extends along the south side for about 22 meters, contributing to the setting of Manor Farmhouse and enhancing the overall streetscape.
