Description

The Haskin monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, about one metre north-east of the north porch of the Church of St Andrew. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of flaw stone. The tomb features a stepped base and a moulded plinth, with one fielded panel on each face, adorned with reeded pilasters that have cabling. There is no frieze, and the very shallow hipped top has moulded coving with rounded leading edges. The inscription is very worn and commemorates Haskin, who died in the 18th century.
