Description

New Barn is an 18th-century barn constructed from local stone rubble with ashlar dressings. It features a plain clay tile roof that sits over stone slate base courses, topped with coped gables that have finials. The barn is single-storey and consists of six bays. There are ventilation slits on both sides, and the fourth bay has large doors on either side. High plain windows are present in both gables. The structure has collar and tie trusses and is situated away from any farmstead.
