Description
Parklands Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century, situated in Brutton, Somerset. It is constructed of local stone rubble with plate clay tiles on stone slate base courses, and features a brick chimney stack. The house is two storeys high, with six bays, the first two being slightly taller. It has small-paned casement windows with exposed timber lintels to the ground floor, and a 20th-century stone and hipped tiled roof porch to the fourth bay. One small and one large pointed arch window are located in the west gable. The building is positioned over a stream, and may have originally been a watermill.
